Greetings from NYC: The Dishes

The perks of hanging out with culinary whiz is you will get the chance to try hippest and most reputable restaurants with undoubtedly finger licking tasty menus. If you're in NYC, dont forget to stop by at Eataly, an Italian resto slash high end food market in 5th Avenue near to the Flatiron and Madison Square Park. Another must try restos are Locanda Verde at Greenwich Hotel in TriBeCa (in love with their Marinated Beets and Casarecce), Chez Sardine-the inauthentic Japanese cuisine located in West Village (my favorite! highly recommended. Do try their Hamachi, Oyster, Little Gems, Seafood Chirashi, Beef Tartare, Coconut Curry Clams and Maki Tempura. Heaven!!!!), Balthazar a French Bistro serving best Eggs Norwegian for your breakfast, and Russ & Daughters-selling bagel, smoked fish, lox, cream cheese and other Jewish favorites. I'm not a big fan of bagel, but Russ & Daughters is my exception. As they say in Yiddish: Oyf a nikhtern mogn ken men keyn zakh nit fartrogn, so I ate it till the last bite! *burppp.

If you're up to more affordable selections, my favorite are Totto Ramen in Hells Kitchen (the wait was long and crowded but totally worth it), Fatty Crab in West Village and Yakitori Taisho in East Village. Yes, all are Asian, my kinda comfort food. Or you can try Shake Shack, a typical American fast food located in Madison Square Park. For more vary selections, try The Plaza Food Hall at The Plaza Hotel (Oh so Gatsby!), the best here are Luke's Lobster, Sushi of Gari and Yoart.

...oh btw, I'm currently craving and longing for these two: Chobani, an authentic and simple Greek Yoghurt topped with the freshest and healthiest sprinkles, also Levain Bakery, selling a heavenly and mind blowingly cookies. Their Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip and Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip are out of this world!

Amen brother, I do believe so.

For evening drinks, I've tried The Standard Hotel in East Village, Rooftop Plunge Bar at Gansevoort Hotel in Meatpacking and some small yet edgy bars in West Village. And for you the night owl, Gold Bar would be perfect, great ambience and good music.
